The first thing to do is go to CCleaner web site and download the program, for this tutorial we will be using the free software program. As you can see there is also a professional and a professional plus and you can see the advantage that each one offers.
For this tutorial we will be using the free version note that the screen shots are for version v5.10.5373 (24 Sep 2015) but the latest version will work the same.
My downloads go to the downloads folder so be aware of were your download folder is located and go there and click on the ccsetup which is a zip file and open it. You will get a pop-up asking do you trust this program , click yes and you’re ready to get started.
Click next to get started and leave the checked apps as is.
Now click next to go to the next step. If you get this screen uncheck the get Google Chrome unless you want to install it. Then click the install button at the bottom right.
Now you are going to start the cleaning process by clicking the run cleaner button above.
Your next screen will warn you that the process will delete the file permanently and do you want to continue, click yes.
